In some areas it has been called a once in a thousand years disaster. But XP Services is flying in hope to the communities of these impacted Appalachian regions through air lifts of vital supplies such as food, clothing and tools. It’s another way we help others Rise Above.
Moved 17,000 lbs of aid on October 1st and 2nd, another 12,000 lbs on the 3rd.
This group and others in the private sector have stepped up to the call of everyday Americans to serve again at their own personal expense. We were assisted by the Appalachia State football team in loading the aircraft in Boone, NC to carry that aid farther west into the regions completely cut off to any services. We are currently based out of Boone at this time and are the only medium / heavy lift operators in that sector. We are expecting 18D from Bragg / Liberty to be in the area and we will be lifting them into areas of highest need for their skill set.
